About TLC Dental Services, LLC

TLC Dental Services, LLC is a dentist in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 703 Cedar Ave, Scranton, PA 18505, which places it among the local businesses of Scranton that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under dental clinic, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

In Scranton, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Pennsylvania, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–6 pm. It is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach TLC Dental Services, LLC at (570) 346-6966; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

It was a terrible experience. Two days after receiving my cleaning, a piece of my lower tooth broke offβ€”I don't know if the hygienist was in a rush or what, but she was very rough, and my gums were injured in several places. I called to let them know, and when I went in for my next appointment, they examined me and said, "We'll fix that after you complete your three treatments." I was scheduled to undergo three treatments; I still have the third one left, but due to work commitments, I couldn't make it to my appointment. I called earlyβ€”around 8:00 AMβ€”to let them know I wouldn't be able to attend my 3:00 PM appointment, and now they want to charge me $75 for not canceling 24 hours in advance. I can't predict the future! Ever since I started my treatments, I've been dissatisfied: the cleaning resulted in a broken tooth, and I've had sensitivity in my upper molars ever since the doctor performed those two repairs. I was waiting to go to my appointment so I could express my dissatisfaction to him. But now I see that I won't be going back, because they refuse to take responsibility. Very ironically, the girl on the phone just said, "Okay, have a nice day."..............................U

Wrong About Me Needing Fillings & Poor Treatment I don't know if management has changed hands or if I simply got a young and inexperienced dentist so take this review for what it is. The dentist (an Asian lady, I'm sorry to say I don't remember her name) came in, barely looked at my teeth and then informed me I needed 3 fillings and gave me a 10 minute lecture about the glasses apparatus she wears because I'd made a light-hearted comment about them and apparently that triggered her for reasons I will never fathom. The dental hygienist even after being told I hadn't been to the dentist due to COVID, my father almost dying, and changing jobs, lectured me the entire time about coming to the dentist and acted like I was making bad excuses for why I hadn't. Feeling something wasn't right, I went and sought a second opinion only to be told that I didn't need any fillings and my teeth were in excellent health based on examination and the SAME X rays I had TLC forward over. I will never return to TLC Dental and I don't respect how they treated me. They should be ashamed of themselves either because their dentist isn't very good at her job or because she's lying, robbing patients, and

literally recommended this place 10/10. everyone is so welcoming and great at making you feel comfortable. I have never left a dental office with a smile on my face but I did yesterday after having my first appointment here. Tracy you’re truly amazing! Thank you so much ❀️

Always a fantastic experience, Tracy is just the best and SO good with my daughter. All of the staff is always very helpful and pleasant. It is a little bit of a ride from our new home but totally worth it. They make my daughter feel comfortable and always walk her through every step during her visits. I also love that you are allowed back with the kiddos! Highly recommend!!!
